We require individuals, interested in working in child care, on a Supply/on call basis.  Hours vary. All positions are located in Newmarket.

For all agency positions, including Supply, applicants must provide:

  • A Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) – dated within the last 6 months of hire, original presented and a photocopy to be retained by YCD.
  • Proof of two  2 step T.B. skin tests  or one 2 step T.B. skin test plus a chest x-ray
  • Proof of Rubella and Tetanus immunization
  • Annual Flu vaccine (recommended)
  • Varicella (chickenpox) and Hepatitis B immunizations (if susceptible)
  • Valid* Standard First Aid & CPR-C (Infant & Child) Certificate
  • If applicable, proof of Early Childhood Education Diploma or alternative approved qualifications (original certificates must be presented)
  •  If applicable, proof of registration, in good standing, with the College of Early Childhood Educator
  • Watch the AODA video (required training)
  • Mandatory Safety & Health Awareness Training - certificate proof of training required

*There must be at least 3 months validity remaining on the First Aid/CPR-C certificate upon employment. The certificate must be a training course approved by WSIB
